Sir,

I have the honour to forward for your ap-

proval the enclosed paper of particulars relating to the

service of Mr. Edward Bowdler, Special Engineer of the Praya

Reclamation Works, and to recommend with the concurrence of

the Members of Executive Council, that a pension at the rate

of $2,880 per annum be granted to him as from 1st, June, 1893,

Mr. Bowdler will draw his pension locally for

the present.

This Officer's Pension is payable at the

rate of 4/2 to the dollar.
